Italian Pizza

Is there anywhere in the US where you can get truely authentic italian pizza?

I was in Naples Italy and had the best italian pizza at some off beat restaurant, it was so far from anything I had in america, it was mostly sauce and hardly any topping but was out of this world. Can you get this any where in america?
ontheroadagainwithouty knows what I’m talking about. I live in North Carolina, but am willing to travel for it.

I hear you Chad-my mouth was orgasmic with taste sensations in Italy. Every hole in the wall had pizza that burst with flavor. Okay, you’ve got to find a place that is run by an Italian from Italy who uses a wood burning oven and has the flour and water shipped in. There are places like that in the US. Do you live-near a large city like New York or Los Angeles?
